I took this same chip from an IBM Aptiva SFF desktop and used an Intel Pentium 233 chip with MMX in it's place. The chip was used in place of a 155Mhz chip in an HP 2725Z Pavilion PC. That desktop was designed for Windows NT/95. I run Win98 but took out USB card for now. It is so dated that there are four SIMM Ram slots in it for 128MB total memory! The reason I mention it is the computer stopped POSTing and did not work after having no problems, I tried a number of things before finding the CPU was the cause. Was it just too much for this Intel based RUBY board in the Pavilion line?
Had one via Aptiva
