This was my very first CPU when I was about 14 years old...

Good preformer (in it's day)

Back in the day these was a excellent 486, Wasn't much you couldn't do with one.

They seem to be one of the most common 486 CPU.

I remember my old Compaq Prolinea 466.
Man that was a awesome machine.
Remember late nights with my friends playing warcraft 2 via null serial cable.

Had 72pin memory, a compact yet easy to work on case, and PCI slots! woot!

DX2 66 and 32mb of ram it ran win95 pretty good.
Sadly it stopped recognizing the hdd and I junked it.. I had already moved on to Pentium by then.. Now I wonder if it wasn't the HDD going bad.. I was younger and stupid, now im older and stupid but still I regret trashing it now.

If I ever find another pronlina Im gonna fix it up as a 486 shrine, The idea of upgrading it with the PCI slots make me giggle too.. anyone for some usb2.0? or maybe upgrade it with SATA-1.5 oh that's a warm thought :)
