Q: I have an Intel Atom E640T processor. Is it possible to upgrade it?
A: No. BGA microprocessors, like this one, are soldered on a board, as a result, upgrading or replacing them is very very difficult.

Intel launches Atom E600 platform
Sep 15, 2010: Yesterday Intel launched Queens Bay platform, aimed at automotive
infotainment systems, media phones, smart grid and automation devices,
and other embedded applications. The platform consists of 8
highly-integrated microprocessors from Atom E600 series, and Platform
Controller Hub EG20T.
