FAQ
Q: I have an Intel Z2420 CPU. Is it possible to upgrade it?
A: No. BGA processors, like this one, are soldered on a board, as a result, upgrading or replacing them is extremely difficult.

Sorry, overclocking information for the processor is not available at this time.
News
Intel announces Lexington platform and Atom Z2420 processor
Jan 10, 2013: This week Intel announced "Lexington" platform for emerging markets.
The platform comes with a smartphone reference design, based on Atom Z2420
system-on-a-chip (SoC) and Intel XMM 6265 HSPA+ modem. The Atom chip
is built on 32nm process, and it has such advanced features as dual camera support, burst mode with ability to capture up to 7
still images per second, and 1080p video encoding and
decoding at 30 frames per second.
Atom Z2420 and Z2480 are in the works
Oct 10, 2012: In January Intel launched "Medfield" smartphone platform with
Z2460 "Penwell" system-on-a-chip, that integrated single Atom core.
The processor supported such performance enhancement technologies as
Hyper-Threading and Burst Performance (BPT), and so far it has been
used in a few smartphones, such as XOLO X90 and Lenovo K800. Atom Z2610 was
the second "Penwell" chip, planned for the Q2 2012.
