Apr 09, 2014: Intel is going to retire Atom S1200 microserver processors, and the first Z3700 systems-on-a-chip for tablets. The list of affected models includes Atom S1260, S1240 and S1220, as well as Atom Z3740, Z3740D, Z3770 and Z3770D. All of soon to be discontinued Atoms are based on the Silvermont architecture and manufactured on 22nm technology, however all of them use earlier core steppings B1, B2 or B3.



Intel Bay Trail-T processors to launch on September 11
Aug 05, 2013: In June at Computex show in Taipei, Intel announced that future Bay Trail-T systems-on-a-chip for tablets will be available this Holiday season, and Intel's presentation revealed that one of forthcoming SoCs will have Z3770 processor number. More definite launch window of Bay Trail-T chips was leaked by VR-Zone hardware news site in July. According to a published slide, the processors were scheduled to launch from August 28 to September 13. VR-Zone now came up with additional information, including exact launch date and specifications of forthcoming chips.
