AMD launches low power 2011 platform with 4 new APUs
Jan 05, 2011: Yesterday, AMD launched new lower power platform, codenamed "Brazos". The platform is aimed at mobile devices, including ultra-thin notebooks, netbooks and tablets, and may also be used in desktop and embedded markets. At this time, AMD introduced 4 Accelerated Processing Units (APUs), that integrate one or two CPU cores with graphics processing unit, and feature very low power consumption.
