A: No. BGA processors, like this one, are soldered on a board, as such, upgrading or replacing them is extremely difficult.

AMD refreshes C-Series and E-Series APU lineups

Aug 22, 2011: AMD announced today three models for C-Series and E-Series lines of ultra-low power Accelerated Processing Units (APU). New processors, C-Series C-60, and E-Series E-300 and E-450, implement support for HDMI 1.4a, as well as add Turbo Core feature and support for DDR3-1333 memory on selected SKUs.

Aug 03, 2011: This quarter AMD is going to launch three low-power "Bobcat" microprocessors for netbooks and ultra-thin notebooks. One of these chips, AMD E-300, is a dual-core APU with 1.3 GHz clock frequency and 1 MB L2 cache. Two other models, C-Series C-60 and E-Series E-450, are beefed up versions of C-50 and E-350 products, that are currently in production.

on the specifications page it is written: Core stepping: B0, but in the CPUID Section it says: ON-C0. C0 is correct, check also the other Ontario chips for that error, eg. E2-

Socket

What type of socket is it? (i`m trying to choose a better processor for my computer and no matter where i go i can`t find the socket type.

Response: AMD calls it socket FT1. The processor is soldered on a motherboard, so there is no actual socket, where processor is inserted. Upgrading or replacing this CPU is extremely difficult without special equipment.

it is not soldered onto my acer the e-350 and i am upgradind to e2 series

Response: I would recommend to double check it. These processors cannot be socketed, and they are always soldered on the board (including E2-1xxx)
