AMD cuts prices of A6 and A8 APUs; reveals price of A10-6790K
Nov 07, 2013: Last week AMD announced A10-6790K APU, which was positioned as a slightly slower, but also less expensive version of the flagship A10-6800K chip. Today the 6790K was added to AMD's official price list. Furthermore, the company added prices of FX-9370 and FX-9590 microprocessors for AM3+ platform. Finally, AMD reduced prices of A6-6400K, A8-6500 and A8-6600K models by 12% - 13%. The A6-6400K now costs $62, and the price of A8 SKUs was slashed from $112 to $97.

AMD launched A10-6790K APU
Oct 31, 2013: AMD announced new Accelerated Processing unit this week. The AMD A10-6790K is a quad-core processor with integrated Radeon HD 8000 series graphics, that should perform a bit slower than the flagship A10-6800K, while on the other hand it is expected to cost less. Specifications of this model already appeared on AMD's website, but the official pricing is not known yet.

AMD A10-6790K APU spotted
Oct 11, 2013: Several new socket FM2 processors, based on a "Richland" core, were released not long ago, or about to be released in the near future. As we previously reported, boxed AMD A4-6300 dual-core APU emerged in US stores last week, while A8-6500T and A10-6700T low-power quad-core processors are still on pre-order in many online US shops. AMD also plans A10-6790K Accelerated Unit, which recently surfaced on the ShopBLT.com website.
