This celeron is difficult to overclock. I have one running at 1133, only! ASUS motherboard. Aircooled.

got one running ubuntu (linux) on an old gateway machine... not clocked... still fast... faster in fact than my 2 power pc mac's of the same vintage...

Good for stress testing 100FSB Coppermine motherboards that don't have overclock adjustments. Intel rated the Icc-core at 22.6A, same as the ill-fated 1.13GHz.

Not overclockable, it's already clocked at the Coppermine's safe limits.
For 100FSB performance a P3 1GHz/100 would be faster, but this 1100 Celeron is a better stress test.
