Celeron forensics

I've been called to have a look at a secretary's computer in a lawyer's office. Turns out an ill-routed IDE ribbon had caught in the CPU fan, so it fried and did random freegames.

A fan grill would have prevented this failure.

The motherboard had a CPU heat sensor with warning feature, but it was turned off. Otherwise the three wire fan with RPM feedback would have sounded the alarm, but again the warning feature needs to be on in order to work.

An ounce of protection... Poor Celeron :(
