New "Bay Trail-D" ULV processors released
Nov 18, 2013: Earlier this month Intel quietly launched ultra low voltage Celeron and Pentium systems on a chip (SoC), based on "Bay Trail-M" core and aimed at mobile devices. Several key improvements in new mobile processors were higher CPU clocks, added support for Burst technology, and increased maximum GPU speed. Mobile Celerons and Pentiums were not the only "Bay Trail" products released this month. Last week Intel added specifications of desktop "Bay Trail-D" chips to their product database.
