FAQ
Q: I have an Intel U3600 CPU. Is it possible to upgrade it?
A: No. CPUs like this one are soldered on a board, for that reason upgrading or replacing them is very very difficult.

News
Intel launches new desktop and mobile CPUs
Jan 09, 2011: Earlier this week, at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Intel
announced 2nd generation Core microprocessors, based on just
introduced Sandy Bridge micro-architecture. Today, Intel officially
launched these processors, as well as a few models built on older
Nehalem and Core technology. Intel's price list was updated
with prices and brief specifications of all new CPUs.
Dell and Acer upgrade laptops with Intel Celeron U3600 CPU
Dec 18, 2010: The biggest event of the next month for the computer industry is,
perhaps, the launch of Intel "Sandy Bridge" microarchitecture. As a
part of this launch, Intel is going to introduce new Core i5 and Core
i7 mobile CPUs. Although details of these processors were known to
computer enthusiasts for months, not many people may know that Intel
will also update their mid-class and budget lines of Westmere-based
microprocessors. One of these processors is a low-power Celeron U3600,
which was recently sighted in notebook PCs from Acer and Dell.
