Intel Core 2 Duo E6305 HH80556KH036F

CPU Information

Intel E6305 and E6405 dual-core processors stand aside from other members of Core 2 Duo family. Designed for 1-way servers, these two processors are manufactured in 771-land LGA package, and can work only in socket 771 motherboards. Model numbers of these CPUs are derived from model numbers of Core 2 Duo processors, that have identical characteristics. Specifically, the E6305 runs at the same frequency and has the same features as Core 2 Duo E6300, and the E6405 has the same core frequency and features as the E6400. Part numbers of E6305 and E6403 processors are also different from other Core 2 Duo processors - they (part numbers) indicate that processors belong to server-class family. The E6305 / E6405 CPUs were used in the following servers: Dell Poweredge T300, IBM BladeCenter HS12, HP ProLiant BL260c, and others.
