Virtualization Technology (VT) has been enabled on E7500 series processors. I do not have the part numbers, but I know it was enabled on this chip and several others starting in early/mid 2009.

My BX80571E7500 (S-spec: SLB9Z, Pack Date: 06/12/09) doesn't support VT-x. How unfortunate.
