This Engineering Sample Core 2 Quad Extreme QX6700 was sent to a computer TV show for review near the time of its release. When the series was canceled, most of the hardware it had been sent for review, including this and a dozen other prototype chips, was donated to a local computer recycling center. I purchased it for $150 and have been running it for the past year without issue.
