Long Lived
Although very expensive when new, it still competes favorably with Core i7. Perhaps not a win, in most cases at stock speeds, the unlocked multiplier allows it to run on par with the i920. In any case, after living with the QX9770 for 18 months it's, hard to justify an upgrade to the i7 series based on performance alone. (Which is probably why they charged $1500)
