To test overclocking ability of this CPU, I temporary overclocked it to 3.3 GHz, i.e. 12.5%, using aftermarket fan/heatsink, standard voltage, 12x clock multiplier and 275 MHz FSB. The testing lasted less than three hours, during that time the CPU was stable. Performance of this CPU in different test was better by 6% - 12% than the performance of X6800 at 2.93 GHz. |
