Sep 27, 2010: Today, Intel ark database (ark.intel.com) was updated with specifications of microprocessors released last Sunday. In addition to 8 Core i5, Core i7 and Mobile Celeron CPUs, that we covered in yesterday's new story, Intel published specifications of 4 other models - Core i5-460M, Core i3-380M, and mobile Pentium P6100 and P6200. All four processors have the status "Launched" in the database. Apparently, the CPUs were a part of yesterday's big launch, but were not included in Intel's price list because the pricelist, for unknown reason, doesn't show any Pentium, Core i3 and Core i5-4xx mobile families.



Aug 18, 2010: Today Fujitsu announced new notebook, LIFEBOOK SH530 with 13.3" LED screen, 4 GB of RAM and up to 500 GB of hard disk space. The most interesting fact about the announcement is the microprocessor used in the LIFEBOOK SH530: "Understanding speed is crucial in our increasingly fast-paced lifestyle, Fujitsu puts the latest Intel Core i5-460M processor and Intel HM55 Express Chipset together with the Windows Home Premium 64-bit operating system into the LIFEBOOK SH530."



Jul 23, 2010: As you may already know from publications on our and other hardware news sites, in the third and forth quarters of this year Intel will launch the next wave of mobile Arrandale-based CPUs: Core i7-640M, Core i5 models i5-560M and i5-580M, Celeron P4600, as well as Penryn-based Celeron T3500. Yesterday we reported on two other models that maybe launched at about the same time: Core i3-380M and Core i5-460M.



Jul 22, 2010: In the past two months, there were multiple reports about Intel mobile processors coming in the third and forth quarters of this year. The information came from Intel roadmap, leaked in May, and processors' release dates and prices, leaked by motherboard manufacturers in June. We already know that Intel will release high performance Core i7-640M, i5-560M and i5-580M CPUs, and budget Celeron P4600 and T3550 microprocessors by the end of this year.
