Intel to release mobile Core i5-3365M CPU in Q3 2012
May 23, 2012: Intel Ivy Bridge micro-architecture has a number of improvements,
one of which is substantially faster integrated Graphics Processing
unit (GPU). HD 4000 graphics, supported by all mobile Core-branded
processors with Ivy Bridge core, performs up to 50% better than the HD
3000 graphics in previous generation of Intel CPUs. Perhaps in
light of increased competition in graphics area with recently launched
AMD "Trinity" processors, Intel decided to give another boost
to GPUs on their mobile chips.
