: Today Intel officially launched Haswell microarchitecture, along
with a wide range of Haswell-based products for desktop, mobile,
server and embedded markets. The reviews of flagship desktop and
mobile Haswell CPUs have been published last weekend by numerous
hardware review sites, and the most common conclusions were that
Haswell chips offer only slightly higher (5% - 10%) boost to CPU
performance at the same clock rate, considerable improvements in
graphics performance, lower idle power, and about the same
overclocking as Ivy Bridge parts.

: Intel's Haswell microarchitecture, coming in about 6 weeks, is
going to bring new performance improvements to desktop Core i5/i7
lineup. Unlike Ivy Bridge CPUs, that achieved this by tweaking the
microarchitecture and raising clock speeds, Haswell microprocessors
will get up to 10% better CPU performance owing just to architecture
redesign. The specs of Haswell microprocessors will be identical to
their Ivy Bridge counterparts, and it seems that the pricing will not
