AMD ElanSC400 embedded microprocessor

AMD ElanSC400 and ElanSC410 are low-power embedded microprocessors with Am486 core. The microprocessors are fully compatible with x86 instruction set, and include a wide range of peripherals on a chip: DMA controller, VESA and ISA bus interfaces and PC/AT standard peripherals. The ElanSC400 also includes LCD graphics controller and dual PC card controller (ElanSC410 does not include these peripherals). The microprocessors can run at speeds up to 100 MHz, but the frequency of the CPU core could be dynamically decreased to reduce power consumption. For example, chip power consumption at 33 MHz is less than 1 Watt. If necessary, the frequency of the CPU core can be dynamically decreased to further reduce power consumption.
