National Semiconductor Geode GX2 microprocessor

National Semiconductor Geode GX2 is a family of highly integrated embedded microprocessors. The Geode GX2 processor includes CPU core, GeodeLink components and the following peripherals: video processor, display controller, 2D graphics processor, and optional TFT controller. GeodeLink integrates all interface modules - Interface units, DDR SDRAM memory controller, PCI bridge, Control processor and Geode I/O Companion device interface, and also provides hardware power management and advanced diagnostics.

This Geode GX 533 microprocessor was used in pre-production versions of XO laptops (laptops developed by One Laptop Per Child association). In May 2007 all XO laptops started using new laptop design that featured Geode LX 700 CPU, which had much better performance and lower power consumption than the Geode GX 533 CPU.
