Overall, the prices were cut by 1% - 23%.
AMD cuts prices on A-Series APUs and FX CPUs
Apr 27, 2012: A few days after announcement of Intel's Ivy Bridge
micro-architecture, many news sites reported
that some
European
retailers slashed prices of FX-8150 processors by 15% - 20%, and
suggested that AMD may have dropped the prices of other processors as
well. Today AMD published new pricelist, confirming price drop for the
FX-8150 model. The company also cut prices of six- and quad-core
FX-Series chips, and for all microprocessors from A-Series.
A6-3670K and A8-3870K surfaced in AMD product database
Dec 20, 2011: Last Friday Turkish site Donanimhaber published a few slides, one
of which revealed release date and official prices of A6-3670K and
A8-3870K Accelerated Processing Units (APUs). Two processors will be
launched on December 26, priced at $115 for A6 model, and $135 for A8
model. AMD today added specifications of these processors to
their
product database, thus confirming imminent release of both
CPUs.
Release date and prices of A6-3670K and A8-3870K CPUs
Dec 16, 2011: On December 5, we published preliminary details of AMDs Llano A6-3670K, A8-3820 and A8-3870K APUs. Turkish site Donanimhaber have now published the release dates and initial pricing for A8-3870K and A6-3670K, as well as revealing more information about the A8-3820.
