ADX620WFK42GI / ADX620WFGIBOX, or model 620, was one of the first two processors in the Athlon II X4 family. The 620 was released together with model 630 on September 16. The Athlon II X4 620 had 7% lower frequency than the 630, and it was 23% cheaper. In fact, the 620 was the cheapest quad-core CPU on market during its introduction. In a related press release, AMD announced it as the "first sub-$100 quad-core CPU". The 620 and other Athlon II X4 processors have most of the features of more expensive Phenom II X4 models, but don't have level 3 cache. For example, Phenom II X4 810 and 910 run at the same frequency and have similar features as the 620, but the Phenoms include 4 MB and 6 MB L3 cache respectively. Large shared level 3 cache provides significant boost, in some cases by 20% or more, in applications that require high memory bandwidth.

Box design is the same as other non-black edition Athlon II X2 processors. It is also very similar to Athlon X2 boxes, with the exception of a few different marketing phrases and a slogan. 		Athlon II X4 620 box

I just buy it, and I am fully satisfied. Big power for little money. I use a Asus M4A785-M, 2GB of Ocz Reaper HPC PC2 6400, the onboard graphics for the time Ati Radeon 4200 256mb, cpu cooler liquid Cool Domino IT LAC and the whole is below 40°c at full load.

Very good processor!

Payed this CPU 80 euros. Overclocked NB at 2530MHz, and set CPU to work a 3.04 GHz at 1.2 volts. Result: almost 35 GFlops in LinX (x64). Temerature under 40 degrees Celsius in full load (TX2 cooler).

Bought mine in Nov.09 lookit 6MB L3!

Cinebench 10.5r 64 bit result

This is my 620 with the L3 enabled. I got a result substantially above what even a Phenom II 910 would get and just a bit under what a 940BE has reported. I am using a Radeon 4670 with dual monitors if that matters to anyone.

The result I got was 9355 under mutli core.
