I just bought two 7750's, Black Edition. From What I understand these are Phenom X4's with 2 cores disabled. They are also the only X2's with a L3 cache.

Very good processor. Cost " - " and is now, here in Brazil, the best "custo x beneficio" ( R$ 180,00 ).
But needs a good "energy" (fonte) because with a generic supply, is a black screen 100% (yes, black and not blue) .
But run in AM2 mobos. Very good cpu.

have just picked up one of the 7750 B.E's. It was part of a second-hand rig with a crappy ASUS M2N68-AM (AM2) mainboard. The m/b is so pathetic it only has clock, multiplier and ram voltage capability. I'm about to upgrade to a ASRock N68C-S UCC (AM2+) board that (as the UCC indicates) has ACC built into the BIOS. Then i can go about setting this p.o.s, ASUS board on fire! >:{
