I have a retail version, and the clock multiplier is not unlocked?????

It will frequency overclock easily to 3.1GHZ, but the multiplier unlocked is the key to stability, in the overclock.

Kind of defeats the reason to even have the CPU.

Bought mine back in may and haven't had any issues clocked at 3ghz 200x15 V1.3 flies threw Win7(score is 6.3) This cpu has alot more ocing potential but my mobo doesn't oc well (older biostar GF8200 m2+)
