"3.1 GHz True Dual-Core Design" marketing slogan doesn't make any sense. Intel no longer make dual-core processors from two core dies.

The box was redesigned, and it is now smaller than boxes of original Phenom II processors. Old boxes had a lot of unused space inside, while the new box has just enough space to fit the CPU, installation instructions and the fan/heatsink.
