Back view of the CPU. The socket AM3 package fits sockets AM2, AM2+ and AM3, but has 2 fewer pins than the original 940-pin socket AM2/AM2+ package.

This processor was made in the first week of February (sixth week) - just before the Phenom II X3 family was officially released by AMD.

i have it for 1,5 yrs and i dont expect to find an opportunity to upragde by selling it and adding 50 euro while getting more that 20% added performance any time soon...a rare piece of hardware which so comparitivly strong
