PCs, Sempron 145 and Athlon II X2 220 CPUs in HP Compaq 6005 Pro
computers, and there were a few others. This time we discovered that
two new quad-core OEM microprocessors with model numbers 840T and 960T

Unlock to x6!!2011-12-11 20:32:31 Posted by: tux_topo Thats all... unlocking2011-12-16 03:33:44 Posted by: Anarex I got 5 cores on mine. If unlocking doesn't work then just disable one of the new cores. Then if that doesn't work then do the other core if your lucky only one is defective. I love this thing!!!2012-06-28 23:35:25 Posted by: Alex C The best processor I ever had and I unlocked 6 cores without a problem running it on my Asus M4A77T/USB3 :) All 6 cores unlocked successfully2013-01-04 16:22:17 Posted by: cappicard I am able to unlock all cores on my Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 Motherboard. I can also overclock it fine upto 3.4GHz with little problems 5 cores only2013-01-14 16:37:52 Posted by: VNAPC I could unlock all 6 cores, but would get the BSOD eventually. However, only one core is bad and I am able to run 5 of them no problem. Amazing CPU.2013-02-14 12:12:13 Posted by: Fouquin Unlocked fine on multiple motherboards and chipsets, and overclocks like a beast. Under air you can reach and hold 4.1GHz at X4 completely stable, 4.0GHz is about as far as you want to push it on X6. With watercooling you'll see 4.5GHz at X4 and X6 will stay stable at 4.2Ghz.
6 Cores2013-03-24 17:08:40 Posted by: Vdog Best CPU I have ever owned. Easily unlocked 2 extra cores on ASUS M4N82 deluxe. Had to use K10stat to be able to correctly auto over/underclock on the fly but it works beautifully. Max temp is 45C under full load when processing video files. 6 Cores really makes a difference when doing those types of things.
