May 01, 2013: Earlier this week AMD announced new processors, expanding the line of high-end FX CPUs with quad-core FX-4350 and six-core FX-6350. Feb 28, 2012: As you may know, AMD yesterday launched two FX microprocessors, including company's first production CPU, operating faster than 4 GHz. New product releases are usually accompanied by price drops of older models, and it wasn't an exception this time. AMD cut prices on two FX-Series models, and reduced prices for most of Phenom IIs. They also added pricing for A-Series A6-3620 and A8-3820 Accelerated Processing units (APUs).

C3 revision of the Phenom II X4 965 BE processor is shipped in a newly redesigned box. It is smaller than the older Phenom II box, and it has just enough space to fit the CPU in a re-designed clamshell, more compactly printed installation instructions, a sticker (it didn't change), and the fan/heatsink.

I never used AMD before but this time I gave it a chance in my new configuration. This CPU is really wonderful. If you put a good cooler and fan, you can easily overclock to @4.00Ghz stable. Never go over 60'C temperature. If you are looking for performance, buy this CPU.

62c max?

When i was over clocking my water block pumps failed and before i shut it off i saw it was at 68 degrees C. So it does still run higher then 62 but i do not recommend doing it.

original 3.4 GHz all Cores 1.314 V (factory)
original 3.4 GHz all Cores 1.245 V ( UC ! TDP sinks over 30%)
OC to 4.0 GHz all Cores stable at 1.38 V
OC to 4.4 GHz all Cores stable at 1.40 V

Weird overclocking specs?

My board shows the original voltage for the default core speed to be 1.40V Wich is stupid, the CPU doesn't even require that much voltage to begin with. I OC'ed it to 4.0Ghz and it started to glitch out on me for quite some time (with 1.45V) i added 0.5V for it to be more stable, but sometimes it goes with a BSoD. So I dont know what the guy above me uses for cooling or magic he does to get it stable at such Ghz with lower voltages, its not working for me. My board is Gygabyte GA 870A-UD3
