News

Feb 18, 2011: Two weeks ago we published a story about Phenom II X4 B99, new business-class processor from AMD, sighted in the wild. Shortly after that the microprocessor emerged in HP Compaq Pro 6005 PC, along with yet unheard-of Phenom II X2 B59, which is also a business-class CPU.

Feb 03, 2011: Last November, ATI-Forum.de published AMD roadmap for the first three quarters of 2011. The roadmap included a reference to Phenom II 960 model, planned for this quarter. At the launch time, the X4 960 CPU is going to be the fastest quad-core Phenom II with 95 Watt maximum power consumption. It's not going to be the only fastest 95 Watt X4 microprocessor, though. It seems that AMD also prepares Phenom II X4 B99, business class version of the 960.
