AMD Sempron 140 - SDX140HBK13GQ / SDX140HBGQBOX
Author: gshv
Sempron 140 is the first single-core microprocessor and the first Sempron-branded processor based on the K10 microarchitecture. With 2.7 GHz clock frequency and large 1 MB level 2 cache, this processor leaves far behind all other K8-based Sempron CPUs. The Sempron 140 is even faster than almost all single-core Athlon microprocessors. The only Athlon 64 CPU that matches this Sempron, and only in a some benchmarks, is Athlon 64 LE-1660.

While the Sempron has only one core, it's in fact a dual-core Athlon II processor with one core disabled. The second core may be unlocked on some Sempron 140 microprocessors using "Advanced Clock Calibration" BIOS feature. Sempron with unlocked core is reported by CPU-Z and similar programs as "Athlon II X2 4400e Processor". Not only that, but some Sempron processors overclock really well, and may reach 3.6 - 3.7 GHz. (Disclaimer - overclocking may damage your CPU. Damage, caused by overclocking, is not covered by CPU warranty.)
AMD Sempron 145 - SDX145HBK13GM / SDX145HBGMBOX
Author: gshv
The second K10-based Sempron microprocessor, model 145, was released in May 2010. The CPU uses C3 revision of the core, which now supports two DDR3-1333 modules per memory channel, and adds hardware C1E low-power state. Beside the new stepping, the AMD 145 is clocked 100 MHz faster than Sempron 140, and in all other aspects this this model is similar to 140. Internally the Sempron 145 is still based on Regor core with one CPU core disabled.
AMD Sempron 150 - SDX150HBK13GM / SDX150HBGMBOX
Author: gshv
Sempron 150 was quitely introduced in December 2010. This model is an incremental upgrade of 145, that increases clock frequency by another 100 MHz, while all other CPU features were left unchanged. From its inception, the AMD 150 was destined as an OEM-only part, and at this time (March 2011) it is shipped in such OEM systems as eMachines EL1352-43, and HP Pavilion p6700z.

ACC UNLOCK TO ATHLON X2

This CPU can be sucsessfully unlocked to a Athlon x 2 using ASUS-Gigabytes 710/750SB mobos

Unbeleivable value from AMD £25 for single core is even fair price. But with AMD using the same archetecture for these as athlon (just locked core-cache)
Plus benchmarks on here show them higher than A 7550 not alot under 7750.

Not only this but useable in older boards.
AMD as put the market back into motion.
Them with an older AM2/+ board just wanting to get a litle more "Ompth" can do so very easy and with only a bios update

Great cpu and only $33usd shiipped!!!

Great cpu and only $33usd shiipped!!!

I have 140 on N68C-S UCC with original cooler and work every day at 3900mhz and have unlock second core. Best processor I ever had.

Where's the Sempron 130?

Right now that cpu it's available at newegg for $30, looks like it's an OEM Version only, even wikipedia doesn't have it in their list....

Response: Should be added next week, once I get this Sempron :) The Sempron was shipped in desktop PCs in Latin America. It does look like it's an OEM only.
