- AMD "K6 3D" processor was renamed to "K6-2" shortly before the processor release. As a result, only small number of K6-2 processors with "K6 3D" markings were released.
- This processor supports both 66 MHz (Socket 7) and 100 MHz (Super 7) bus frequences. For 66 MHz bus speed use 4.5x clock multiplier, for 100 MHz bus speed use 3x clock multiplier.
