AMD K6-2 550 vs Intel I7
The fact that people are comparing the K6-2 550 with an Intel I7 should tell you the power the K6 had back in the day. I had one in the summer of 98 when it was first released. I paid $450 for the chip and about $150 for the mobo. $250 for 512mb of ram and another $100 for the Matrix video card. I did it all for a game called Quake by ID Software. One of the best rigs I ever built to date. Mike Wallace Aka Fatal Error.
