Photo of my AMD-K6-III+ 550ACR CPU.

Many people have told me that these were never produced or don't exist, but I can assure you that they do - I've had dozens of them over the years.

My retro PC is running one of these at 105MHz FSB x 6.0 multiplier = 630MHz on air cooling using a standard socket 7 cooler at 120F. This is a great CPU that I used to upgrade my Asus P5A motherboard.

Full part number is:
AMD-K6-III+/550ACR | 2.0V CORE/3.3V I/O
AMD-K6-III+ 550ACR

Fastest K6-III+ Clock Speed

For the socket 7, this is the fastest performing chip due to its 550Mhz clock speed and 256KB L2 cache. However, the K6-II+ clocked at 570Mhz is the fastest clocked chip for the Socket 7, but only has 128KB L2 cache.
