Response: These parts have different maximum die temperature. They are interchangeable.

Old processor, still works over here :)
Overclocking is easy to set the FSB not on 100MHz but on 133MHz. Only the processor will get very hot with a regular cooler, maby you have to put a stronger one on.
You also can overclock it with the bios settings.

runs stabaly at FSB 333 on all kt266a/sis730 board.
which is 1.66GHz. over clock 66%.
runs at 400 on nf2 board. which is 2GHz. over clock 100%.

Very stable at 133 mhz Bus no problems no overheating.

it is an excellent processor, with extra cooling, i was able to increase to 1.5 gigahertz
