For anyone who still wants to run Athlon 2200+
on ECS K7SEM SIS730S(B1 sticker needed on MBoard and Bios 1.1e for support Athlon XP)
All you need to do is changing CPU's clock & voltage in bios from default to 133/133/33 (after CPU Athlon instalation). Enjoy.

In the Stepping codes, it mentions AIRCA, AIUCB, AIUHB, AIXIB, JIUHB, KIUHB, KIXIB, and KIXJB but I have one that has the following Stepping Code: AIXHB.

The Level 2 Cache on the one I have is fried so I need to replace it but found several online at really good prices. :)

Thanks! Used it for eBay

I have a athlon +1800 now, would a +2200 be much of a speed boost? Is it worth the time to switch these cpu's

Response: It will be 10% - 12% on average, in some applications up to 20% faster

I have one of these in my Old PC. Its stable and reliable. Although it might be a bit outdated by today's standards.

Great Chip

I have this in my main PC. I've not overclocked it so it still runs at it's healthy 1.8GHz. Great chip, highly reliable and certainly recommended for anyone thinking about using one.
