AMD Athlon XP 2600+ - AXDA2600DKV3C

CPU Information

Athlon XP 2600+ is the fastest Athlon XP processor with Thoroughbred core and with 266 MHz FSB. This is usually the best processor upgrade for older motherboards that don't support newer Thorton and Barton cores. Be warned though that this and other "best upgrades" processors are in high demand and sometimes are difficult to find, hence they are usually overpriced.

I don't know if this is genuine or not... I just got this on ebay for my PCV-RX402 with a A7N266-VX motherboard from ASUS. I used RightMark CPU Clock Utility to diagnose the speed.

Anus, your chip is overclockable... it is a "B" chip and the FSB & Multiplier are unlocked! Now, you just need to find a DFI, ASUS or ABIT motherboard which will let you get it into the 2.37GHz or 2.4GHz range! Nice PCU!!!!!

i have a AXDA2600DKV3C but the stepping code on mine is JIUHB then after that is 0337MPMW and the package number is 27648... could mine be a fake or generic cpu?

Response: It's not a fake. It only means that our database of stepping codes is incomplete

Running well on Gigabyte GA-7DX with latest Bios. At higher FSB it works rated as 2900+ without any problems.
