I'm confused about this, as /i seem to find it in descriptions of both. Why is it not compatible with socket A / 462 ?

Response: It is a processor for laptops, and it's not compatible with desktop motherboards. There are other Athlon XP-M CPUs compatible wi

To the previous poster- This processor is a smaller version of the Socket A/462 processor, and although it is a Mobile Athlon 2400+, it's socket is incompatable with Socket A/462. Thats why its listed as a different socket and pincount.
