Unless you can manually adjust multipliers don't get this. I know it came as a pkg w/ Biostar KM400 boards & is supported by some ECS boards. I have/had it working in older MSI's & an Asus board but it's a struggle to configure. Getting around 800MHz in desktop Motherboard2009-02-19 15:49:14 Posted by: Darren Plymouth UK I have had the same problem, only being able to get 800MHz when placed into a desktop motherboard. I have an old MSI which supports all 133MHz FSB Athlon processor except this one, because it's designed for laptop use. Using an overclocking method I'm now running at 2.2GHz 133MHz FSB. You have to place fine wires in the ZIF socket to link pins on the processor to force the multiplier up to x17 from x6. A single strand from a multicore wire works well. Shape the wire into a u-shape the same width and length of the processor pins. Google How to clock Athlon XP to find more help.
