This is my "Siemens XP 3200"!

He runs on a "Asus A7N8X Deluxe REV 2.00" (BIOS 1008) together with two 512MB PC 3200@Dualchannel.

The Asus recognizes him as an "AMD Sempron (tm) 2,200 MHz" in.

The OPN-Code is:

SDA3300DKV4E (1. Line)
ADYHA0515GPMW (2. Line)

So is the year of production 04/2005, one oft the last XPs from AMD-Germany, Dresden, at that time also known as "Fab 30", since 2006 knowing as "Fab 38", where they now produced the 300-mm-Wafers!

The Gigabyte VA-20 motherboard I'm running this cpu on recognizes it as an Athlon XP 3200+ with the 400FSB at 2.2GHz. I really like this one. It is very fast loading pages, even pages like eBay where I purchased it for only $74.99. That is cheaper than the average Athlon XP 3200+ I've been seeing goes for. The specs are "identical"!! It is a welcome addition to all the other Athlon Xp's in my collection.

THIS CPU IS IDEAL IF YOU DONT WANT TO OVERCLOCK.THE PRICE OF SECONDHAND 3200 CPU IS VERY HIGH.(MOST WILL HAVE BEEN OVERCLOCKED).I AM RUNNING THIS CPU ON MSI K7N2DELTA+++ (RECOGNISED AS XP3200)RUNS VERY WELL.STANDARD TEMP 42 DEGREES AND AFTER PLAYING CM5 FOR 2 HOURS 62 DEGREES

the difference is...

I read this CPU was only build for Fujitsu/Siemens Computers. Is that right?

And why does the "original" one have the rating 3200, but this 3300?

Response: Yes, it was OEM CPU only. It has different rating because it was rated as Sempron, i.e. it was rated relative to Celeron CPUs.

What's the difference between this cpu and an Amd 3200Xp? I've read both specifications and they seems to be the same.. Thank You

Response: In my opinion they only differ by name and rating. Performance and all electrical and thermal parameters are the same.
