performance+value

The Athlon 64 2650e is a great value. It's a cheap CPU and it gets the job done. I currently use one in my everyday desktop computer. I do a lot of multi-media projects, movies, music, and light gaming. It won't handle the new games out on the market, but it can handle a couple year old games. If you have a decent GPU, you could play Battlefield 2 which is an awesome game and isn't to old. It's also great for office applications as I use it for a lot of that too.

A Decent CPU

I use an eMachine EL1200. It's truely a descent product. 2650e consumes VERY low power, however it's reliable and effective, one of the best machines I have ever used.

Quite Good but not for long

I have been using laptop emachines D620. At first year, this CPU work quite Good, smooth for lite games, lite multimedia project such as video editing & pic. but lately, i think somethings wrong with the CPU. it seem quite slow and i nto sure why... huhu

Low speed

I have just bought (at the right price) a used e-machines D620. For a cheap laptop I was quite happy with the fact that it had a 2650e processor and 2GB ram but instead of the 1600MHz I should be seeing both AMD's CPUinfo and CPU-Z report 800MHz!

Crap Processor

For all of you with the positive reviews. You must not have ever been on a computer with a quad-core or even dual-core, for that matter. This is one of the crappiest processors I have ever come across even for a single-core. Replaced it with a 4850e dual-core and it was like night and day. Then I added in a SSD 4GB RAM and it is now like 80's vs present. All of this was done on a eMachine EL1210-01e with MB.NAB01.001 motherboard. For what my sister-in-law uses it for Faceyspace and casual browsing) this will last another five years with Windows 7 Professional x86.
