AMD Athlon 64 4000+ - ADA4000DKA5CF (ADA4000CFBOX)

Specifications

The 4000+ is the fastest single-core Athlon 64 microprocessor. This is a good upgrade processor for single-task oriented computers, for example, for game computers. At the same time, it may become difficult to find this processor in the future as AMD is phasing out production of this and other socket 939 processors. At this time (September 2006) the Athlon 64 4000+ and faster single-core Athlon 64 FX processors are no longer listed in AMD pricing list.

Isn't this core named TOLEDO? For example, the wiki page "List of AMD Athlon 64 microprocessors" claimns so.

Response: Core names on this and other pages are provided according to AMD: http://www.amd.com/it-it/assets/content_type/DownloadableAsset

This is an awsome single core cpu and i have achieved at least 2.8ghz easy. I reckon it could do 3ghz easy with a good cooler ;)

there is a part number confusion between ADA4000DKA5CF and ADA4000DAA5BN, but both are amd athlon 64 4000+ with a socket 939, and 90 nm.

Probably one of AMDs best single core CPUs. I still use it in my secondary system.
It’s incredibly cool and easy to to overclock @2,8 Mhz.
