AMD Athlon 64 FX-53 - ADAFX53DEP5AS (ADAFX53BOX)

The first socket 939 Athlon 64 FX CPU. The FX-53 CPU in 939-pin micro-PGA package could be used on the same motherboards as socket 939 Athlon 64 microprocessors, which helped to reduce overall price of FX systems. Another advantage of this processor over socket 940 processors was support of cheaper unbuffered DDR SDRAM memory. Performance-wise this processor was as fast as Athlon 64 4000+. In fact, this processor was re-branded by AMD as Athlon 64 4000+ (ADA4000DEP5AS).
