AMD Athlon 64 FX-62 - ADAFX62IAA6CS (ADAFX62CSBOX)


At this time (December 2006) this is the fastest desktop socket AM2 Athlon 64/FX processor. This CPU performs better than any other AMD Athlon 64/64 X2/FX processor except FX-74, as well as any other Pentium 4, Pentium 4 Extreme Edition or Pentium D CPU. In many tests the Athlon 64 FX62 performs better than the Core 2 Duo E6400. Still, the FX-62 is slower than the Core 2 Duo E6600, E6700 and X6800 microprocessors.
