Specifications
Athlon 64 TF-20 is a low-power single-core microprocessor with 1.6 GHz core clock frequency and 512 KB level 2 cache. Besides 64-bit instructions set and an NX feature (no-execute bit), it also supports Virtualization technology. This, perhaps, is the main reason why this CPU is branded "Athlon 64". Without Virtualization, performance and features of the TF-20 would be no different from Mobile Sempron processors. The processor is packaged into 638-pin package that fits any socket S1 motherboard, but is electrically compatible only with the first revision of this socket - S1g1. The processor was shipped in low-power notebooks, such as Acer Aspire 5516, eMachines E625, and others.
To upgrade the TF-20 microprocessor you will need to determine what processors are supported by a motherboard in your notebook. The best upgrade path is to get one of Turion X2 TL-XX microprocessors - they will likely be supported by your notebook, and they will significantly boost notebook performance in multi-threaded applications, or when you're running more than one process. There are two cautions, though. Turion X2 microprocessors have higher power dissipation than Athlon 64 TF-20, therefore a fan/heatsink in your notebook may not be able to handle increased heat production from the CPU. Higher power dissipation will also shorten batter life in the notebook. Disclamer: make sure that the processors, you are going to upgrade to, are actually supported by your laptop!

Roda jogo tranquilamente
