I have the ADO5000IAA5DS black edition and it reports to be a G2-revision.

The G2 has a significant upgrade on the memory interface compared to the G1, so get the G2 if possible.

Best performance still goes to the F3 90nm due to the lower latency in the L2-cache.
So if you can get a 65W F3, it's the best of both worlds...

Stepping is a myth!!!

I have ordered two different ADO5000DSWOF, one from Mwave.com and the other from Newegg.com. BOTH arrived as a ADO5000IAA5DS with G2 stepping! The retail box says the "SWOF" means Ships WithOut Fan. S-W-O-F. There you have it. All 65nm 5000+BE are G2 stepping!!! Yay

Got it to

Best of it all is that you could cool this one easy, with heatsink or slow fan..

What's the Front Side Bus of this CPU?
I've got the mobo running at 200mhz, is this correct, thanks...

Response: Yes, the value is correct. It is not an FSB frequency though - this is a base clock that determines HyperTransport frequency (ba
