This is the AMDTK57HAX4DM (Turion 64 X2 TK-57) in my Acer Extensa 4420. AMD must be getting desperate if they're marketing stripped-down budget CPUs as Athlons, because this is bottom of the line (stripped L2 cache)! Planning on upgrading to a TL-class CPU with 512k L2 per core soon.

you are crazy to compare a mobile atlhon x2 is the fiasco of the atom, which is so damn lazy, that the Athlon compare pentium dual core and core 2 duo!

Yes, it only has 512KB total cache and is clocked at only 1.9 GHz. The good part, however, was that it supported virtualization despite AMD's claims. VirtualBox ran rather well on this chip with some allowances. (No, it's not going to challenge a Core 2 Duo or Core i3/i5 anytime soon, this is more in league with a dual-core Celeron at best anymore...)

But, for a 31 watt budget chip, it was not bad at all.

Este procesador fue puesto en equipos High-end, por lo tanto se garantiza su calidad. En lo personal, tengo una laptop Toshiba Satellite a215-sp5811, con 700 mb de una Radeon 5810, a pesar de ser fabricada en el 2007, funciona de maravilla con mi W8 64 bits.
