THIS IS ONE OF 5 IMAGES I TOOK OF THE AMD ATHLON 5800+ APPARENTLY IT WAS MANUFACTURED IN MID 2005 FOR HP AND A FEW OTHER COMPUTER MANUFACTURERS -BUT SO MANY WERE MADE THAT THEY WERE SOLD OF IN LOTS TO COMPANIES SUCH A NEWEGG AND SOME OTHERS- THE DATE PRINTED ON THE BACK OF THE CPU IS 2005 AND THERE ARE NO SPECS FROM AMD BECAUSE- #1 IT IS AN ODD MAKE AND #2 IT IS AN OLDER MODEL- IT IS ALSO AN OEM WHICH MEANS NO BOX NO PRETTY STICKER AND NO OVERCLOCKABILITY IT RUNS TOPS AT 3.2GHZ SO YOU GET WHAT YOU GET - ONLY BLACK EDITION CPU'S CAN NOW BE OVERCLOCKED UNLESS YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO STILL HAVE AN OLDER ONE THAT THE MULTIPLIERS WERE NOT LOCKED OUT- ANY WAY THATS ALL I HAVE FOR NOW - IF I GET ANYMORE INFORMATION I WILL POST IT FOR ALL OF YOU PEOPLE THAT WANT INFO

well here is some info just located on the 5800+Brisbane --- the v core is variable - any where from 1.35v to - 1.55v--- apparently the temp range is also variable
im workin on finding out all i can but AMD DOESNT WANT TO TALK TO ME ABOUT IT!!! HMM WONDER WHY THIS CPU WAS AHEAD OF ITS TIME OUT IN 2005 AND NOONE HAD EVEN GOTTEN CLOSE TO 3.0GHZ YET WITH H/T (hyper transport technology)
THAT ACTUALLY FUNCTIONED CORRECTLY AND IT WAS MUCH FASTER THAN THE COMPETITION UN"INTEL"LIGENT

Info Found!

Thank you cpu-world! I have spent the better part of a night trying to find the info you listed [specifications, etc] on this processor.
Neither the site where I may purchase, nor AMD's own site would provide any real information.
