Opterons
The opteron 165 for 939 is a lovely chip says its unanimous acclaim. But this server-based chip is preferred vs its 4400+ counterpart (pound for pound, they're equal in specs), by many enthusiasts because of the widely subscribed to notion, that THESE chips are hand picked from the MIDDLE (the best) of the silicon wafer before all other chips, (of its time) were cut - hence its better overclockability (which has been noted widely - they clock better).
The Idea is that these chips have to be the most stable/reliable - because they're designed to be used in SERVERS.
If you're not into overclocking however, the 4400+ is just as lovely - there's no difference ^_^.
